Little Kids Rock the House!

As the first Milagro grantee, we funded David Wish, a 1st grade California teacher in 1998 with 30 guitars for his classroom. Now, as founder of Little Kids Rock, David and his organization have given free music lessons and free instruments to over 300,000 kids in 1200 schools around the country.

These young musicians are from M.S. 129, a public middle school in the Bronx, New York City. They entertained Carlos Santana and 600 HBO Latino guests, playing "Black Magic Woman" Wednesday night at the Hudson Theater in New York City
