Johns
Hopkins Center for American Indian Health has made important strides in helping
Native American communities cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Schumacher Family
Foundation is donating 700,000 masks to our friends at JHUCAIH who will be
distributing them to tribal communities, where tribal hotspots of COVID
are desperate for PPE. The initial mask donations will go to the
following tribes:

White Mountain Apache, Navajo
•
Assiniboine and Sioux
•
Blackfeet
•
Northern Cheyenne
• 11 Ojibwe bands across MN and WI
